Weighted vote
A vote in which each owner's ballot counts proportionally to their ownership share.
In condominiums, votes are almost never one-owner-one-vote. Instead each ballot is weighted by the owner's ownership share — permillage, unit entitlement, share value or common interest, depending on the jurisdiction. A resolution passes when the sum of weighted 'yes' votes exceeds the required majority threshold. CoCollab computes weighted tallies live during the vote.
