The official written record of a general meeting, resolution by resolution.
Minutes record who was present, what was voted on, how the vote fell (weighted totals, quorum, majority achieved) and any dissenting opinions. They are signed by the chair and secretary and often need to be filed with authorities. Minutes are the legal proof that a decision was validly taken.
